Caring for patients with cancer in the COVID-19 era

The seven comprehensive cancer centres of Cancer Core Europe share knowledge and experiences to define new guidelines for treating cancer patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the space of just a few weeks, these seven centres have had to drastically revise and reorganise their patient care and scientific research due to the coronavirus crisis. The outcomes have been published in Nature Medicine.

In this joint effort, the centres offer guidance to institutions globally by outlining their general consensus measures and organisational strategies adopted to make their operations “pandemic proof”.
